2026 HASBL Regular Season Registration

Registration for the 2026 HASBL season is officially open for the Pee Wee Minor, Pee Wee Major, Little League, Intermediate 50/70, and our newly added Junior Division.

*** New for 2026: Junior Division (Ages 13–14) ***

Beginning this spring, HASBL will offer a Junior Division designed specifically for players age 13 or 14 according to the 2026 Little League Baseball Age Chart. This division plays on a regulation-sized field—60' 6" mound distance and 90' base paths—providing a true full-field baseball experience. Games will be scheduled on weekdays, and the season will run without conflict for players who are also registered in the 50/70 Intermediate Division. Most games will be held at the HASD Jr. High baseball field behind Longer Elementary.

Registration Timeline & Fees

Registration opens Friday, November 28th, with an early-bird rate of $100 per player available through December 31st. A sibling discount ($20) is offered for families with multiple players. Athletes who participate in both Little League & Intermediate 50/70 or Intermediate 50/70 & Junior Division will receive a multi-division discount ($20).

Beginning January 1st through February 19th, the standard registration fee is $125 per player, with sibling and multi-division discounts still available.

During the final registration week—February 20th through February 27th—the fee increases to $150 per player, and registration closes at midnight on February 27th.

All players are required to participate in league fundraising by selling a minimum of five meal cards. Additionally, each family must provide volunteers to assist at the concession stand several times during the season.

Player Gear

Every HASBL player receives a personalized jersey (last name and number) and a fitted hat for the 2026 regular season. Due to limited availability in smaller fitted sizes, Pee Wee Minor players will receive adjustable hats.

Player Considerations

· Junior Division, 50/70 Intermediate, Little League & Pee Wee Major Divisions will be holding a skill clinic to allow our coaches to evaluate players prior to the draft. *Tentative Date for Skills Clinic & Team Drafts - Saturday, March 7*

· 10-year-old players are eligible to play in Pee Wee Major (ages 8-10) or Little League (ages 10-12). Please see division descriptions to choose what is best for your player. Players must go through a consideration process.

· 7-year-old players may play up in Pee Wee Major and must go through a consideration process *Please note consideration process below*

7 yr & 10 yr old play up considerations will be the following:

Safety of Players

Current League Numbers (Players) within League Petitioning to “Play Up.”

Baseball skills in comparison to desired League Participants.

Considerations will take place at the Skill Clinic.

HASBL Divisions

2026 Little League Baseball Age Chart

Junior Division: 13 yrs - 14 yrs old *** New ***

Our new Junior Division offers an exciting transition for older players, providing a bridge between youth and full-sized baseball. This competitive division uses a conventional 90-foot diamond with the standard 60 feet, 6 inches pitching distance.

Games will be played on weekdays.

Players playing in the Junior Division will not have conflicts with the 50/70 Division. This will offer your player more games, practices, and skill development.

Games will primarily be played at the HASD Jr. High baseball field behind Longer Elementary.

Intermediate 50/70: 11 yrs - 13 yrs old

The Division will be competitive while focusing on player development and introduction into more advanced baseball situations.

Players will learn new fundamentals such as leading and pick off moves with longer base paths (70 ft) and pitching distances (50 ft) than our traditional Little League Division.

Games will be played on Sundays until later in the season.

Players playing in the Little League Division will not have conflicts with the 50/70 Division. This will offer your player more games, practices, and skill development.

Little League: 10 yrs – 12 yrs old

The Division will be a competitive format based on Little League International rules and regulations as seen in the Little League World Series.

Games will be played Monday through Friday.

10 yr olds have the “option” to select Little League OR Pee Wee Major. * 10 yr olds can only play in one Division.

Pee Wee Major: 8 yrs – 10 yrs old

The Division will be competitive in a Kid Pitch format focused on early stages of baseball development with modified rules.

Games will be played Monday through Saturday.

9 & 10 yrs old automatically qualify for this Division.

8 yrs old have the “option” to select Pee Wee Minor OR Pee We.

Please select only one division when registering your child.

7 yrs old MUST go through the consideration for Pee Wee Major.

Pee Wee Minor: 6 yrs – 8 yrs old

Coach / Machine Pitch format focused on the early stages of baseball development.

Games will be played Monday through Saturday.

Children 7 and under automatically qualify for this division.

8 yrs old have the “option” to select Pee Wee Minor OR Pee Wee Major

Please select only one division when registering your child.
